Can a man borrow ideas from woman’s fashion? This may seem reprehensible at first. Would not a man who borrows ideas from woman’s fashion look like a woman? For some strange reason, a woman looking like a man is considered acceptable while a man looking like a woman’s considered a fashion disaster. Well, you can be rest assured that simply copying woman’s fashion will not make you look like one.
The primary reason why men can borrow from woman’s fashion is that clothes that men and women have started wearing are pretty much the same today. In an office setting, men and woman both wear business suits. Of course, women wear slightly better cut and more graceful looking suits. However, you can take a look at accessories and learn from them.
If you feel that wearing matching accessories is not a smart idea, you can opt for contrasting colors. Many persons made the mistake of thinking that any color other than the color of the suit is acceptable as far as accessories are concerned. That is not the case.
If you are wearing a blue suit, wearing a golden strapped watch will be much better option than wearing a black strap for your watch. If you do not want to attract attention to your belt, it makes sense to wear matching colors.
On the other hand, if you intend to wear other colors, you should take the decision very carefully. The last thing you want is to end up wearing a dark belt on a light pant and look like a fool. This can easily end up making you the object of ridicule.
Irrespective of whether you borrow your ideas from men or women’s fashion, make it a point to carry it well. Even if you do commit any fashion mistake, your confidence and poise will ensure people admire you despite your fashion mistake.
