It seems to be an unstated rule that everybody has the right to look fashionable except the bride and groom. Both have to wear traditional clothes leaving little scope for imagination and fashion. There is little scope for fashion but modifications can be made to completely black 3 piece suit or the white gown? Well, modern designers have recognized this fact and that is the reason why there is a lot of leeway for the bride and the groom in determining the dress.
If you are not comfortable with the all black attire, you have the option of going in for something less formal and slightly more colorful. Of course, that doesn’t mean you can land up in your own wedding wearing pink or fluorescent orange. However, gray or even blue are acceptable colors that do not reduce the sobriety of the occasion. Of course, you should look good and comfortable in whatever you wear.
Women have more options as far as looking fashionable is concerned. One easy designing option covers modifications of the length of the dress. A knee length white skirt made of silk and a veil made of satin combined with a tiara of flowers is more than enough for the bride to look heavenly beautiful. There is a growing consensus that such minor but critical innovations can make a huge difference to the overall theme of the wedding.
Hence, if you are getting married and if you want to continue looking fashionable, there is absolutely no harm in making sure that your dresses are out of the ordinary. You will have very few options as far as accessories and other fashion items are concerned. You cannot wear a digital watch, can you? You will have to make use of standard dresses and make changes to enjoy better fashion sense at the altar.
